All three stop the engine starting until you authorise it, so a relayed, cloned or stolen key alone can't drive the car away. The differences are in how you authorise, whether the system is Thatcham-certified, and what else it works with.

Choose the Pandora Microbot if…
- your insurer asks for a Thatcham-certified immobiliser
- you'd like the choice of a tag, a PIN, or both
- you want an app for service mode and using your phone as the tag
Choose the CAN-Phantom CP24 if…
- you want nothing extra on your keyring: just a PIN on the car's own buttons
- it's for a van or commercial vehicle, as it works on 12 V and 24 V systems
- you'd like a British-made system
- you'd like your phone to be the key: its new Walk Up Unlock uses your phone's face or fingerprint recognition as you approach
Choose the Scorpion X-Series if…
- you want it to arm itself every time you switch off, with nothing to remember
- you're also fitting a ScorpionTrack S5 tracker, as one tag then disarms both
- you want a hidden install with no app to manage
What they have in common
All three are fitted out of sight and work through the car's own electronics. None of them changes how you drive once you've authorised. Each is matched to the exact make, model and year before we quote.
Why it matters locally
The West Midlands had the second-highest rate of vehicle crime in England and Wales in the year to March 2026, behind only London (ONS). West Midlands Police recorded 12,196 vehicles stolen in 2025, with Ford the most stolen make (West Midlands PCC). Nationally, the Toyota RAV4 was the fourth most stolen car in 2025 and the Lexus NX eighth, both models with keyless entry (DVLA data via Fleet News).
Still not sure?
Send us the make, model and year, and tell us whether your insurer has asked for anything specific. We'll recommend one, explain why, and give you a fixed quote before anything is booked.
We work across Walsall, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Solihull, Cannock, Wolverhampton and Stafford.
