What it is.
The X-Series is Scorpion's CAN-bus immobiliser. It arms automatically when the ignition goes off, and the engine won't start until you enter your PIN on the car's own buttons.
Pair it with a ScorpionTrack S5 tracker and the tracker's driver tag disarms it too. It needs no app or subscription, and it isn't Thatcham-approved.

Will it fit?
Connects directly to the vehicle's CAN bus, and your PIN is a sequence of the vehicle's own buttons. Scorpion asks for each vehicle to be checked before fitting, so get in touch with the make, model and year first.

Without it, the engine won't start, whatever key is used.

Scorpion X-Series, answered.
01Is the X-Series Thatcham approved?
No. Scorpion doesn't claim Thatcham approval for it. If your insurer asks for a Thatcham-certified immobiliser, look at the Pandora Microbot.
02Can I use my tracker tag instead of the PIN?
Yes, if it's a ScorpionTrack S5 tracker paired with the X-Series.
03What if I forget my PIN?
There's a separate emergency PIN. Keep it somewhere safe, away from the car.
04Can a garage service the car?
Yes. Service mode lets the car start without the PIN while it's being worked on.
