Will it fit?

Pandora lists two CAN connections on the Smart Pro v3, which is how it reads the car and works with its own key fob. It also comes as a van package with a wireless motion sensor; remote start without a second key is only possible on selected vehicles.

01What's the difference between the Smart Pro and the Elite?

Both are a Category 1 alarm and immobiliser with GPS tracking on the Pandora app. The Elite adds a long-range OLED pager that works up to a mile away, dual SIM and a wireless siren.

02Does it need a subscription?

It needs GSM airtime for the tracking, alerts and app: the first 6 months are free, then £70 for 6 months or £125 for 12. Alerts come to you; there's no monitoring centre.

03Can I control it from my watch?

Yes. It works with the Pandora Connect app on iOS and Android, a desktop application and most smartwatches, as well as your car's own fob.

04Is there a version for vans?

Yes. The van package adds a wireless motion sensor for the load area.
